Catering Order Management

The SiMenu solution can be composed of:
1.A mobile component (Android or Apple) for taking orders with the tablet provided at the table (directly by the customer or the waiter) and a web part for managing orders and configuring the restaurant.
2.A web app just for the restaurant staff that includes all the order acquisition, reservations, order management and configuration functions
There are four types of users based on the different functions provided: administrator, waiter, kitchen/bar operator and cashier operator.
Digital menu that can be consulted by the customer, who can enter the order independently, or an app for waiters to acquire orders
Configure languages, operating data, printers, users and workflow
Enter data of the rooms, tables, categories and sub-categories, allergens, ingredients and products, payments and VAT codes
View current orders and booked tables in table or graphical view
Enter new orders (restaurant, takeaway, home delivery) or book tables
Modify orders or reservations, unlock courses, transform reservations into orders
Delete orders or reservations
Print enhanced order summary
View basic sales statistics
The waiter type user can:
Use the Mobile App to take orders if customers do not do so directly at the table via the appropriate tablet or use the web app directly
View current orders and booked tables, both in table and graphical view
View the list of new orders to be taken in charge (if the organization of the restaurant provides for a waiter dedicated to the table)
Modify orders and unlock courses
Give notice of a free table after making it available for subsequent customers
View notifications from the kitchen for ready-to-serve dishes or other information to communicate to customers
The kitchen/bar operator type user, if not included in the ordering flow configuration phase, will only receive printouts of the tickets with the dishes to be prepared. If, however, he is included in the flow, he can:
Take charge of the dishes to be prepared coming from the waiter or automatically depending on the configuration
View any notes on dishes to prepare
Notify that the dish is ready to be brought to the table
Notify if a product is out of stock
The cash register operator type user can:
View orders
Modify orders for freebies
Delete orders
Close orders from summary
Print valued order summary
Notify free table after closing the order
